The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (5th) that in the first half of 2023, five members were promoted to Llieutenant gGeneral, Chao Ya-ping, Vice Admiral Chen Dao-hui, Vice Admiral Wu Li-ping, Lieutenant General Lee Ching-ran, and Lieutenant General Dong Pei-lun, and 22 members were promoted to mMajor gGeneral, including Lieutenant General Wu Sheng-tang, Lieutenant General Yeh Yun-hui, Lieutenant General Yu Chi-long, Lieutenant General Hsieh Yong-wei, Lieutenant General Yang Siang-yi, Lieutenant General Hsu Tian-chu, Lieutenant General Chu Yong-bang, Lieutenant General Chen Jun-liang, Lieutenant General Chang Chi-wei, Lieutenant General Wu Jia-jun, Lieutenant General Chen Yuan-hao, Rear Admiral Wu Mu-qiao, Rear Admiral Chen Chun-chong, Rear Admiral Yeh Rui-lin, Rear Admiral Wu Chi-xing, Rear Admiral Yao Le-hui, Major General Lin Jia-hong, Rear Admiral Tao Cheng-jun, Rear Admiral Wu Chi-xiao, Major General Qin Shao-jie, Major General Hsu Hong-zhou, and Major General Hsu Yi-hong.
To show honor and respect, the MND would like hold a promotion ceremony for the Army, Navy and Air Force at 9:00 a.m. on June 6 (Tuesday) in the Welcome Hall of the Boai Building of the MND to boost the morale of the Armed Forces.
