The 10th Army Command issues a press release explaining the "boisterous activity of servicemen at the barracks violated information security regulations"

In response to media reports that "new draftees of the 586 Brigade were repeatedly beaten on their heads with an electric mosquito swatter", the 10th Army Command said today (21st) that it had preliminarily verified that the people involved were a serviceman whose surnamed is Jen and his colleagues, and they were messing about; it was not an act of bullying. Nonetheless, the act was considered a violation against information security regulations as smartphones were used to record and uploaded videos to social media platforms at the barracks. Punishment will be issued accordingly.
The 10th Army Command emphasized that it will require its subordinate units to strengthen information security supervision and management, and continue to publicize relevant information security regulations to prevent the recurrence of similar cases.
