In response to a weekly report that "Papers submitted by a teacher of the Political Warfare College are suspected of plagiarism", the National Defense University (NDU) emphasized that the content of this report is not true, and called on the media to fulfill their responsibility to verify reports to avoid misleading the general public.
NDU stressed that it had received an anonymous complaint with regard to the above-mentioned case. The schools take such reports seriously and had launched an investigation in accordance with the regulations. It was found that there was no concern or doubt of plagiarism, and the school calls on the media to uphold their professionalism of journalism and fulfill their responsibility to verify reports before publishing them to avoid damaging the reputation of the school and individuals.
