The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (10th) that it recently discovered some unspecified sources disseminating false information and rumors by stating that the Navy and Air Force had not reported or monitored the situation of the CCP army. After the relevant content was screened and examined by the national security agency, they were verified to be fake news.
The MND emphasized that it will refer cases that are found to have deliberately created and disseminated false information to the police to assist to investigate and prosecute according to the law. The MND cannot rule out the possibility that this false information was part of cognitive combat tactics from the enemy. As such, the MND would like to appeal to our nationals not to spread rumors or false information and undo all the hard work of our servicemen who hold fast to their posts and strive to defend the country. Most of all, these tactics only serve to have our nationals fall into the trap of the enemy by deterring solidarity and compromising our national security.
