The 10 th Army Command stated that a rifle of the 104 th Brigade under its authority
was found to have breech flow during a rifle shooting exercise this morning (9 th ) for
unknown reasons. The accident resulted in injury to the right-middle finger of the
teaching assistant and the right side of the shooter's face in the form of redness and
swelling with some bruising. No personnel was seriously injured, and medical staff
assisted on-site.

The 10 th Army Command said that the unit stopped the shooting practice
immediately after the incident, and contacted the family of the injured parties to
explain events. Army Command also engaged professionals to set up a task force to
clarify the cause of the incident. It will also endeavor to strengthen gun inspection,
ammunition screening, and safety protection measures to uphold training security.
