Army Education, Training, and Doctrine Development Command stated today (9 th )
that a T91 bayonet was found missing when trainees carried out equipment
inventory before storing equipment in the arsenal archive after the subject-division
training squadron of Infantry Training Command completed its daytime military
drill yesterday (8 th ). Infantry Training Command immediately conducted a full-scale
search, and Army Education, Training, and Doctrine Development Command set up
a task force in the unit to investigate the case further.
Army Education, Training, and Doctrine Development Command said that the
bayonet had not yet been found, and the search is ongoing. The trainee responsible
for the safekeeping of equipment will be punishment accordingly. The case will
also be used in future as an example of the importance of continuously
strengthening the management of military equipment and weapons and inventory to
strictly enforce discipline and prevent a similar case from occurring.
