The 8th Field Army issues a press release explaining media reports about "improper behavior and actions by male and female officers in the camp, causing the Army to order an immediate transfer and severely punish those involved"

The 8th Field Army Command stated today (2nd) that two individual officers under its command violated behavior and social standards in the camp in 2021, and they made use of mobile phones to shoot videos. After Command received the report, it immediately set up a task force to carry out an administrative investigation.
The 8th Field Army pointed out that these officers violated internal management and information security regulations, and have been transferred from their current positions while the investigation is underway. Command adheres to the principle of "strict assessment, strict elimination", and will issue punishment following the investigation. In addition, Command will continue to strengthen military law discipline and gender-based education to improve awareness and protect the military's reputation.
