The Air Force Command Headquarters issued a press release regarding the media coverage titled “Tsai visited Air Force troops in Penghu to show appreciation, while the Chinese KT-500 cruised east of median line”
With regard to the media coverage titled “Tsai visited Air Force troops in Penghu to show appreciation, while the Chinese KT-500 cruised east of median line,” the Air Force today dismissed such statements, for it did not coincide with the reality.
The Air Force stressed that the military will keep up the efforts in joint intelligence, surveillance and investigation in response to any intruding aircraft over the waters around Taiwan. In the meantime, the public may stay reassured that the armed forces will remain vigilant and continue boosting our defense readiness.
