The Army Command issued a press release on the media report on "OH-58D Combat and Recon Helicopter of the Army Aviation and Special Forces Command has seriously fallen to the ground again"

The Army Aviation and Special Forces Command said today (6) that a 0H-58D combat recon helicopter (No. 634) of its affiliated flight training command experienced a heavy landing on the ground when performing flight training assessment. Fortunately, all personnel were safe, and potential damage to the aircraft is to be evaluated. As for the cause, a special task team has been set up by the command to conduct an investigation.

The Army Aviation and Special Forces Command pointed out that the base demanded that flight training stop immediately after the incident, and all flight units are required to enhance publicity with regard to this case.

In fact, the Army Aviation and Special Forces Command attaches great importance to this flight safety incident and will continue to strengthen the in-service training of instructors and the intensity of crisis management to ensure the safety of flight training.
