Severe punishment imposed by Guandu Command Center on military officers frequenting inappropriate establishments with threaten of discharge.

The Army’s 6th Regiment said today on the 22nd that Chen and a few other military officers ventured into some inappropriate establishments in mid-January this year when on leave from the barracks. According to the Armed Forces Punishment Act and the Regulations for Maintenance of Integrity of Armed Forces Personnel, such service members have placed on administrative probation and removed from their current positions, while listed as potential members facing disqualification.

The Sixth Regiment said the incident will be used as an example in military law and discipline training, in the hopes of improving the military morale and maintaining the reputation of all service members.
