Ministry of National Defense: Review and Appropriate Punishment for Negligence
Regarding the media coverage of “CCAFPS High Level Cadres Who Committed Misconduct Have All Been Transferred”, Ministry of National Defense has provided the following explanations today (18th):
1. The Chung Cheng Armed Forces Preparatory School is the cradle for cultivating excellent Armed Forces cadres, whose behaviors must be superior than the students. Ministry of National Defense selects and dispatches cadres based on the principle of being competent in ability and morality as well as appropriateness.
2. Ministry of National Defense highly emphasizes on the content of the prosecution towards high level cadres of CCAFPS in October 2018, and has specially formed a task force to implement administrative investigation, which proved partial misconducts that sabotage the reputation of the military. The involved parties have been punished according to relevant regulations, and have been reviewed and transferred.
