NCSIST as the combat system integrator for IDS is under normal progress
Regarding the media coverage of “NCSIST Software Not Incorporated into the IDS Combat System; Turn-key Contractor for Equipment Will Be Lockheed”, the Navy Command Headquarters has stated today (11th) that the content of the coverage is merely a speculation by the media. The “IDF” is currently implemented according to the plan by the main contractor, CSBC Corporation Taiwan, and NCSIST serves as its combat system integrator, with everything going on in normal progress as of now. The Navy upholds a rigorous and prudent attitude to conduct management and control in order to facilitate a smooth implementation for the entire program, and hereby requests all media to refrain from covering speculation.
The Navy Command Headquarters emphasized that “IDF” is a consistent policy of the government, which has entered the plant construction phase right now, and is being implemented according to the plan. The command headquarters hereby requests the support of the media and the public.
