Naval Fleet Command: military vehicle collision with no casualty; road safety education will continue to be reinforced.

Naval Fleet Command has stated today (7th) that an administrative vehicle affiliated with the Xiaoxueshan Radar Station of the Marine Surveillance and Reconnaissance Command, driven by Sergeant Lin at 9:00 this morning, was overturned after inadvertently bumping into the utility pole on the side of the road, when driving through Dongkeng Road in the Dongshi District of Taichung City. There was no casualty from the accident, and the police has completed on-site disposal.

Naval Fleet Command pointed out that the subsequent matters will be conducted according to the “Operation Regulations for the Insurance and Incident Disposal of Armed Forces Military Vehicles”, and the incident will be used as a propaganda example to remind soldiers and officers of each level to continue to reinforce road safety education, and heighten risk prevention alert and responsive capability of drives, in order to ensure road safety.
