Regarding the media coverage of “New York Times Pointed Out that the Procurement of the Latest Model of F-16 Fighter Aircrafts from the USA to Taiwan has been Temporarily Suspended”, Ministry of National Defense has pointed out today (31st) that the procurement of the latest model of Air Force fighter aircrafts has proposed the LOR for LOA, and the executive departments in the USA is processing it in normal progress according to relevant military sales procedure.
Ministry of National Defense emphasized that it will continue to maintain close contact with the executive departments in the USA, and will announce the latest progress to the public instantly.
