The Ministry of National Defense issued press release to explain “PRC assigned aircraft today (20th) to implement long-range navigation training” (April 20th, 2018)
The Ministry of National Defense said today (20th) that the PRC assigned 2 Hon 6 aircraft to cross the Miyako Waterway to the western Pacific Ocean and flew through the Bashi Channel and then returned to the camp through the same route to implement long-range navigation training.
The Ministry of National Defense emphasized that the national army assigned ships and aircrafts to carry out full-time surveillance and investigations and necessary handling according to “Emergency Handle Rule during Regular War Preparation Period of the National Army”, and no exceptional occurred during the period, the national army stands by its duty and defends national security.
