The Ministry of National Defense issued press release to response the media report that “United States Department of State announced the marketing license of Indigenous Defense Submarine of ROC” (April 7th, 2018)
In response to the media report that “United States Department of State announced the marketing license of Indigenous Defense Submarine of ROC”, the Ministry of National Defense said that we appreciate that US Government value our national safety and provide adequate defense resources, ROC and the US will keep firm and friendly relationship to strive for the promotion of peace and stability of the region.
The Ministry of National Defense emphasized that Indigenous Defense Submarine is the critical policy of national defense independence and the Ministry of National Defense keep promoting Indigenous Defense Submarine and strengthen national defense industry and the research and development of national defense technology to actively demonstrate the determination and capability of self-defense.
