Air Force HQ addressed to media for the report “The radar station was partially damaged by typhoon Meranti” (20160915)
For the report that the radar station was partially damaged by typhoon Meranti, HQ said due to the powerful wind the cap of the radar and the wall were impaired. The professional repairing unit has been detached to the station for emergent maintenance.
HQ emphasized the equipment is under repair and the guarding is not affected so no worries for nations.
