Air Force HQ published explanation for the incident “Delayed rescuing for crashed AT-3 and investigation showed serious defect in Air Force”(20160912)
For the incident “Delayed rescuing for crashed AT-3 and investigation showed serious defect in Air Force”, Air Force HQ today (Sep.12) has said it is really grateful for the government’s investigation in renewal of SOS transmitter and the requirement of rescuing. Air Force will continue its endeavour in perfection.
Air Force HQ also emphasised that it has renewed the GPS transmitter as SABRE 6-406G for IDF, AT-3, S-70, and EC-225 in 2015. It is scheduled the GPS transmitter renewal for F-16, F-5, C-130, E-2, T-34 and Mirrage-2000 will be completed at the end of the year. In the future Air Force will not terminate the purchase of the finest SOS equipment to secure the life of pilots and will not disappoint the nations.
