General Welfare Service Ministry signed a cooperation agreement with a bakery company for the benefits of the officers and soldiers (July 21 2016)
(Reported by Military News Agency Journalist Lin Ze-yan in Taipei on July 20) General Welfare Service Ministry of MND today signed a cooperation agreement with a bakery company “Hai Yi Life Co., Ltd.” and will introduce the first bakery of a famous French brand at Dazhi Welfare Station. To celebrate September 3 Armed Forces Day this year, the bakery will be on sales so as to reward the officers, soldiers, veterans, and their families with substantially great deals.
The agreement signing ceremony took place at General Welfare Service Ministry in the afternoon. The Minister Colonel Yu Xi-ming, General Manager of Hai Yi Life Co. Wang De-cheng, the Company representatives, and others joined in the ceremony. Yu Xi-ming indicated that through the newly opened bakery at Dazhi Welfare Station, in the future, the bakery will be distributed to other welfare stations. To work with the contracted company, the Ministry will provide “frozen dough” imported from France for the Armed Forces so as to save their time and cost for making bread and for the benefits of the officers and soldiers.
General Manager of Hai Yi Life Co. Wang De-cheng pointed out that through cross-industry alliance, they have fully experienced the innovation and diligence of General Welfare Service Ministry. He hoped that this kind of marketing can mobilize other industries to create more business opportunities and benefit the officers, soldiers, veterans, and their families.
