Ministry of National Defense: Taiwan’s Military Has Always Kept Close Surveillance on the Activities of the Chinese Military (May 18, 2016)
(Military News Agency reporter, Li Yi-Hao, Taipei, May 17th) Regarding the media report of “China’s Military Publishes Image of 31st Group Army Landing Exercise ahead of May 20th Inauguration”, the Ministry of National Defense expressed today that the images are taken from the annual routine exercises of the Chinese military.
The Ministry of National Defense stressed that Taiwan’s military has kept close tabs on the exercise and activities of the Chinese military but will not comment on the details.
