Legislator Team Investigates Hang Kuang Computer Aided Simulation and Acknowledges the Efforts of the Officers and Soldiers in Combat Training Preparations (April 29, 2016)
(Military News Agency reporter, Chen Jian-Xing, Taipei, April 28th) The Foreign and National Defense Committee, Legislative Yuan inspected the “32nd Han Kuang Computer-Aided Command Exercise” military exercise today to witness the combat preparation missions, and expressed their acknowledgement for the hard work of the military in national defense.
Accompanied by the Minister of National Defense Gao Guang-Chi, Administrative Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Wang Hsin-Lung, and others, the Foreign and National Defense Committee inspection team , comprising of convener legislator Chiang Chi-Chen, Wang Jin-Pyng, Wang Ting-Yu, Lu Sun-Ling, Lim Tshiong-Tso, Tsai Shih-Ying, Lo Chih-Cheng, Cheng Yun-Peng, and Lu Yu-Ling, first visited the Joint Combat Training Center and the Joint Combat Command Center to listen to the briefing reports of the exercise and understand the response measures of the military. They were deeply impressed by the hard work put in by the military officers and soldiers day after day to protect our homeland and defend the nation. The legislators expressed their encouragement towards the high morale and spirits demonstrated by the officers and soldiers in the exercise.
Minister Gao Guang-Chi also expressed his thanks to the legislators for their concern for military building efforts and the constructive advices they have provided. He stressed that the officers and soldiers will keep up their efforts in combat training so as not to let down the people of Taiwan.
