Transport for Outlying Islands – Demonstration of Care and Assistance to the People(6.apirl.2016)
(Article: Military News Agency Chen Jian-Xing / Photo: Songshan Air Force Command Headquarters) The Air Force deployed the C-130 transport aircraft 3 times to assist in the transport of villagers in the Magong, Kinmen and Nangan areas on April 5th, successfully transporting a total of 212 military personnel and civilians from the outlying islands back to their work positions. During the long Qing Ming Festival holiday, under the pretext of not affecting combat readiness, the Air Force has provided timely assistance in the personnel transport mission so that the public and military personnel may return to their work positions on time, thus demonstrating the spirit of caring and helping the people.
