The Ministry of National Defense issues a press release stating that a US military vessel passed through the Taiwan Strait
The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (19th) that a US combat ship has continued to travel southward after sailing north to south through the Taiwan Strait.
The MND points out that the Armed Forces engaged in joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance the entire time when the US vessel passed through the Taiwan Strait to track relevant developments at sea and in the airspace around the region, and conditions are believed to be normal.
