The Ministry of National Defense issues a press release about the activities of CCP aircraft and vessels detected around the Taiwan Strait today (September 17, 2022)

The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (17^th) that a total of 20 CCP aircraft sorties (including two sorties in the south-west airspace) and five CCP vessel sorties were detected as of 17:00, and have continued to carry out maneuvers over the sea and airspace of the Taiwan Strait. The Armed Forces have adopted mission aircraft, vessels, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor and respond to the situation.
