Naval Fleet Command Released a Press Release Explaining the Matter Regarding “Saudi Arabian NCC SAMA Improperly Rammed into Ningyang Warship During Entry”. (March 9th, 2019)

The Naval Fleet Command has stated today (9^th) that its affiliated Ningyang Warship was improperly rammed by the Saudi Arabian NCC SAMA during entry at the amidships on the port side during 01:30 when the former was docked at East 5 Pier of the Port of Keelung; the incident has caused partial denting and tearing on the port side dock, with no personnel casualties, and the damages can be self-repaired after evaluation. The relevant responsibilities will be clarified through the investigation from maritime units including the Maritime and Port Bureau, Keelung Harbor Police Department, and the Coast Guard Administration, and the command will claim for compensation according to the law.
