Statement on the Personal Data Protection Act
To protect your personal data, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "the Ministry ") explains, in accordance with the regulations of the Personal Data Protection Act, the direct or indirect collection, processing, and usage of your personal data within the scope of the following purposes and circumstances. By completing the registration, you indicate your consent to the following terms:

Purpose of Collection: The Ministry collects your personal data in accordance with the regulations of Personal Data Protection Act and related laws, with the intent of providing quality services and collecting, processing, and using your personal data within the necessary scope for the execution of official duties or business. By providing your personal data, you agree to have the Ministry use it to verify your identity, contact you, and provide relevant services and information related to this case, including subsequent notifications.

Categories of Personal Data: Based on the registration requirements, the personal data you provide may include your surname and name, National ID Number, date of birth, telephone number, email address, etc.

You agree to the duration, location, parties, and methods by which the Ministry may use your personal data during the execution of this case:
Duration: One year
Location: Within the territory of the Republic of China (Taiwan)
Parties: Personnel of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China and individuals involved in the operations related to this case
Methods: Use of personal data via telephone, email, hard copies, or other appropriate means based on the technology available at the time

When the purpose for collecting your personal data disappears or the duration expires, you agree that your personal data may continue to be retained, processed, or used for this case. Except where the Ministry requires the data for the execution of official duties or business during the project period, or to comply with other legal obligations, you may request the Ministry at any time during the project period to delete, cease processing, or cease using your personal data.

You are free to choose whether to provide your personal data for collection, processing, and usage in this case. However, if you choose not to provide, or provide only partial / incomplete / false / inaccurate personal data, or if you request the Ministry to delete part or all of your personal data after provision, or if the data provided is reported or found to be insufficient to verify your identity, or involves impersonation or misuse of another person"s data, resulting in the Ministry being unable to perform necessary verification and processing, the Ministry reserves the right to suspend the provision of services to you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
