In response to media reports that "the Special Forces Command frequently experiences various incidents, and the Ministry of National Defense (MND) demands severe punishment," the Army Command stated today (25) that reports about "the minister being angry" and the "request for severe punishment on officials for dismissal" are all speculations and not facts, and the Army requests that the external world not spread false information that may damage the morale of the Armed Forces.
The Army Command further pointed out that it has strengthened solid training for officers and soldiers and requires strict military discipline, without any slackening. Furthermore, the Command has properly reviewed the responsibilities of oversight units with regard to military discipline cases under its command, in order to improve rational and effective management of troops and uphold overall combat power.
