The National Defense University issued a press release regarding the media reports that "a student from the main (Bade) campus was diagnosed with COVID"

In response to the media reports that "a student from the main campus was diagnosed with COVID," the National Defense University stated today (13) that a student from the main campus had sought medical treatment on his own due to physical discomfort. After being tested with PCR, the result was positive, and the student was told to conduct home isolation as instructed by the local health authority.

The National Defense University pointed out that the school had completed epidemic investigation operation and required isolation and PCR testing upon close contacts. In addition to following the guidance from the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) and the local health authority, the school will also strengthen epidemic prevention work on campus and continue to carry out such measures as space sub-division and flow diversion, comprehensive cleaning and disinfection, personnel health control, and other epidemic prevention measures in order to maintain the health and safety of both teachers and students.
