The Ministry of National Defense stated that as of about 06:00 today (13th), it had detected 35 sorties of various CCP aircraft, including J-10s, J-16s, Cy-30MKKs, Yun-9s, Yun-20s, KJ-500s (Air Early Warning, AEW), UAVs, and others engaged in sea-faring activities, 28 of which crossed the median line of the Strait and extended into the southwest airspace. Some fighter jets were detected flying into the Western Pacific via the Bashi Strait as they carried out combined sea and air training with a Shandong aircraft carrier. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to closely monitor the situation, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-based missile systems to respond appropriately.
