The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that since 0600 hours today (20th), it had detected 22 sorties of various types of CCP aircraft, including J-10s, J-16s, Cy-30 MKIs, H-6s, KJ-500 Air Early Warnings (AEW), and carrier-based helicopters for sea-faring activities, 13 of which had crossed the median line of the Strait and extending into our southwest airspace. Another seven CCP warships were involved in combat readiness and patrol cruises. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to stay abreast of developments, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor the situation.
