Kinmen Defense Command stated today (26^th) that when an unexploded ordnance disposal team was driving a Hummer on the way back to the camp after a mission the vehicle caught on fire for unknown reasons. The fire was put out straight away, and no personnel were hurt.

Kinmen Defense Command stated that it has set up an ad-hoc team to investigate and clarify the cause of the fire, and also ordered its subordinate units to implement various risk management and control measures to prevent the recurrence of similar cases.
