The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (22^nd ) that a total of 13 CCP aircraft sorties (including three sorties crossing the median line of the Strait and extending to the south-west airspace) and five CCP vessel sorties were detected as of 17:00, and have continued to carry out maneuvers over the sea and airspace of the Taiwan Strait. The Armed Forces have adopted mission aircraft, vessels, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor and respond to the situation.
