In response to the rumor online that the CCP sent "Sukhoi-35 fighter jets across Taiwan Strait", the Ministry of National Defense (MND) pointed out today (2^nd) that the Armed Forces has a complete grasp of the developments and trends around the sea and airspace of the Taiwan Strait as it adopts joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures. The rumored reports that Sukhoii-35 fighter jets of the CCP flew across the Taiwan Strait are not factual. With the bearing and approach of "anticipating the enemy leniently, and strictly defending from the enemy", the Armed Forces meticulously prepares various plans, and dispatches appropriate troops to respond based on the situation at hand. As such, the Armed Forces are most “determined, capable, and confident” to ensure our national security.
