The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (18^th) that a total of 51 CCP aircraft sorties (including five sorties crossing the median line of the Strait and extending to the south-west airspace) and six vessel sorties were detected at 17:00, and have continued to carry out maneuvers over the sea and airspace of the Taiwan Strait. The Armed Forces shall adopt mission aircraft, vessels, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor the situation and respond accordingly.
