The Ministry of National Defense issues a press release on the passage of a US destroyer through the Taiwan Strait (May 19, 2021)

The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (19^th) that a US destroyer sailed north to south through the Taiwan Strait yesterday.

During the southward journey through the Taiwan Strait, the Armed Forces had full control of relevant developments around our periphery at sea and in the airspace. All conditions were believed to be normal.
