The Ministry of National Defense (MND) issued a press release stating that "a US destroyer sailed through the Taiwan Strait"

The MND stated today (14) that a US destroyer sailed from the south towards north through the Taiwan Strait, and continued northbound.

The MND pointed out that the Armed Forces had full control of relevant developments in the surrounding sea and airspace, with all conditions normal when the US military vessel sailed northward through the Taiwan Strait.
