Press Release Regarding the Malfunction of AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-kuo at the Air Force Ching Chuan Kang Base. (July 11th, 2019)

Air Force Command Headquarters has stated today (11^th) that a unit of IDF fighter aircraft (no. 1436) affiliated to the Ching Chuan Kang Base experienced mechanical malfunction at 15:59 p.m. when implementing routine return trip; the malfunction was discovered by the pilot immediately and was handled appropriately, whereas the fighter aircraft was safely landed at 17:00 p.m.. The details of the cause are being investigated by the Air Force task force, and the command headquarters hereby apologizes for the 8 airline flights that were affected during the incident.
