The Air Force Command Headquarters issued press release to explain the media report that “two F-5 fighters of the Air Force formed to land down but blew out at the same time”. (September 10th, 2018)

In response to the media report “two F-5 fighters of the Air Force formed to land down but blew out at the same time”, the Air Force Command Headquarters said today (10^th) that two F-5E/F fighter aircrafts (No. 5403 and 5261) belonged to Taitung Base have executed regular training at 10:50AM, August 22^nd, and returned to the base and landed down at 11:19 AM, and the pilot conducted emergency measure due to poor weather condition and used the interception equipment to hold back these aircrafts successfully. And fighter aircraft models of the air force did not use renovated tire, the media report is inconsistent with the fact.
