The Ministry of National Defense issued a press release stating the episode on ‘The cancellation of “No. 46 Wan An Exercise” at the central region as land storm warning area was expanded with respect to Typhoon “Doksuri”

The Ministry of Nation Defense (MND) stated today (26) that ‘No. 46 Wan An Exercise" originally scheduled to be held on July 26, 2012 at the central region as Miaoli County, Taichung City, Nantou County, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Chiayi County, and Chiayi City Hualien was cancelled in coping with the expanded land storm warning area from Typhoon “Doksuri.” Besides, the transmission and issuance of air defense warning (ADW) previously planned won’t be implemented in order to facilitate disaster prevention and preparation.
