Army HQ said (20) that it has received the notice from Taipei city government that “Chia-Ho village” was probably under deconstruction in need of clarity onsite. After the audit on May 19 the HQ with relevant units has confirmed the full existence of the village without damage.

Army thanked the concern of the society over the preservation of Chia-Ho village as a designated antique building. Later Army would follow “Cultural Heritage Preservation Act” to preserve the integrity of historic buildings and villages under the instruction of Taipei city government.
