MND indicated (9th) that the Force was informed on 6th by the fire department requesting support in rescuing mission. From 6th to 8th there had been 43 men and 7 vehicles deployed by Second Battle Division for rescuing mission but still in vain.

Regardless of  lower temperature and higher humidity in mountain area the Force (9th) was continuously dispatching 401 Rescuing team and men from Second Battle Division, Reserved Division and Army air-borne totally 43 men and 3 vehicles for the rescuing mission. MND Joint Operation Center also asked each unit to complete the equipment check and sessions before task to ensure its own safety. The Force will support the recuing mission with full effort and in hope of discovering the disappearing man.
