Press release of Air Force HQ to further explain the case of drugs found in Ching-Chuan-Kang air base (February 22th, 2017)

Air Force HQ expressed (22) that due to the case of drugs found in CCK air base the HQ had carried out urinary tests over all members in the unit according to “Operation Rules for Urinary Tests on Drug Abuse of Military Members”. Currently the positive samples confirmed by the screening plates had been transported to Military Hospital for further analysis. The highest principle is “no mercy” to bring those involved to justice.

Air Force addressed the urinary tests over all members in CCK air base were ongoing and the relevant results and reports are based on the formal reports of investigation unit. The case is now under prosecutor’s investigation ordering MP. The HQ respects the verification of the law and for the content involved in criminal activities the HQ will cooperate with investigation and prosecutor to explain the detail to the whole nation.
