In his inspection visit to the 2016 “Min-An 2 Exercise” in Nantou today, Commander of R.O.C. Armed Forces Reserve Command, Tang Chia-Kun encouraged the different military departments to engage in close coordination and cooperation, implement full pre-drill preparations, strengthen risk management and controls and coordinate mission groups so as to achieve the best results for the drill.

Accompanied by representatives from the departments in the drill such as Nantou County Government, Fire Department, and National Fire Agency Training Center, Commander Tang listened to the briefings at the various drill sites and inspected the drill preparations such as site planning, drill events, routes, support troops, equipment and machinery, and offered his guidance.

After the inspection visit, Commander Tang also visited the Reserve Forces Counseling Center in Mingjian Township and Jhushan Township, and expressed his gratitude to the officials in the Reserve Forces for their support in national defense. He also encouraged them to continue to develop the relations with the local grassroots community, and to promote talent recruitment and advocate national defense education to provide a strong support basis for the military.
