Air Force Command issues a press release stating that "Corporal Chan from the Tainan base fell to ground and died while moving ground equipment."
Air Force Command stated today (14th) that Corporal Chan from the Tainan base accidentally fell from a trailer at 20:25 while moving ground equipment, and was sadly run over by a rear power supply vehicle. He was sent to hospital for emergency treatment by the unit, but unfortunately was declared dead. Air Force Command expresses its deep regrets that this incident occurred and is extremely saddened for the loss of life. Aside from working with the prosecutors and police to collect evidence and carry out legal and disciplinary investigations, Command will also fully assist the victim's family members through this difficult time. Command will carry out a comprehensive review of this case, and improve work processes to prevent similar cases from recurring.
