The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (24th) that the Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to understand the vessel formation of the Shandong CCP aircraft carrier as it carried out navigation training in the western Pacific, about 120 miles southeast of Eluanbi, and continued to monitor the situation should the fleet pass the southeastern waters of our country. The Navy, Air Force, and land-based radar systems stayed abreast of the situation and closely monitored developments to respond accordingly.
