In response to media reports that "the delivery of Harpoon missiles the United States sold to Taiwan has been delayed", Navy Command stated today (19th) that the content of the reports are not consistent with the facts the news stories published are purely media speculation.
Navy Command stated that all construction plans of military build-up by the Navy are carefully evaluated and handled in accordance with the current threat of the enemy, and based on guidance and planning of joint combat forces, and operational needs. The needs for war preparedness are a critical point of planning for control and implementation and Command calls on all nationals for support.
